LUSHLIFE LA is a full-service practice engaged in the design of landscapes, buildings, and interiors in the Los Angeles area. We work with clients to realize optimized living environments that are atmospherically rich, materially sophisticated, and thoughtfully detailed.
Founded in 2003, we have completed over 75 built projects for residential and commercial clients to date. Our work has appeared in Architectural Record and California Homes Magazine.

Anthony is the principal and founder of LUSHLIFE LA. He has nearly 20 years of experience in master planning, site development, and project management for a wide range of institutional, commercial, and residential clients. Anthony directs the office and oversees all facets of project design, from conception through the completion of construction.
Since 2001, Anthony has taught architecture and landscape design, history and representation. As Adjunct Assistant Professor and First Year Studio Coordinator at the USC School of Architecture, he developed an all-new, digitally-integrated studio curriculum that introduced spatial design through formal/organizational logic and the instrumentality of drawing. His 2013 topic studio explored the notion of architectural copies and proposed “covering” as a design methodology. He has previously taught at the University of Cincinnati, UCLA and OTIS College of Art + Design.
Kevin Abell | Principal
BS Plant and Soil Science, University of Kentucky
Kevin has over 20 years of experience in horticultural selection, garden design and estate landscape management. He directed the construction of an 11-acre landscape for one of the largest residential construction projects in California. Kevin oversees all planting design with a keen sensitivity to formal appearance and sustainability concerns.

With over 8 years of experience in the design and detailing of architecture, interiors and landscapes, Dustin manages a majority of the office’s projects from schematic design through construction administration.
